This morning, sending test emails to myself taking 5 minutes for a blank email, and 15 minutes for a message with attachment. They do arrive--just unusual delay like this. Changed SMTP port from "Automatically manage connection settings to port 587. No difference. Now, I've set it back. When trying to send fromCOX WEBMAIL, get an error message: "An error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request." Is there an issue with Cox servers? Re: Random Email Failures Redux I'm in Irvine, CA, and I'm on a Mac, using MacMail, and just started having the same email problems this week. I sent myself a few test emails, and they took anywhere from 5 minutes to 20 minutes to arrive in my inbox. The other day, I spoke to a Tier 2 tech support person at Cox, and he confirmed what most of the threads here are finding out, that it's a known issue at Cox, and they have no timetable to fix it. He said they're migrating to new servers and have had "issues". So, for now, we're at their mercy.
