It took 10+ phone calls before a helpful tech came out and toldme that Cox would nevertell me over the phone that the problem was their fault (they never entered the S/N or Mac ID to activate my modem), butthe issues I was experiencing were entirely on their end. Now that it is set up, I can get online, but I can't hold a steady connection and has made online gaming nearly impossible. After reading a lot of these posts, the ping spikes that we are experiencing are likely on Cox's end as well. Re: Packet loss/bad connection Rocket League Where are you located? I have the same hardware as you (SB8200) and just upgraded to Gigablast 2 weeks ago. Ever since upgrading, I have noticed packet loss at similar times that you are experiencing them. I didn't have issues before when I was paying less for slower speed. Last night I couldn't hold a steady connection and dc'ed from multiple games.
