Just got off of the phone with support about removing old cameras from the Homelife app. Despite spending hours on the issue with other techs before they assigned it to a higher level the answer is apparently that the app isn’t used anymore so just go ahead and ignore it. Just uninstall it. The web page to view the cameras is long gone. Now the SPECIFIC app is gone. So the only way to view the cameras is using the tv or the panoramic WiFi app. The panoramic app isn’t totally an admin app but it has the higher level functionality - FAR MORE than should be accessible just to look at the cameras. So now when my seven year old wants to see what the kitty cat is doing when he’s at daycare he’s going to be signing in with billing / main system user account (which will now have to use a simple password despite holding my credit card info) he can also go ahead and restart the gateway, play with port forwarding (which might be particularly enticing since it contains a list of game titles), etc. I must be misunderstanding something - is that the new procedure? And when I am looking through CURRENT support articles I see references and even screenshots of the app. And there are troubleshooting instructions that actually open the very app that is installed on my phone… Homelife cameras and equipment all disabled I now have the newer audio style camera for my Homelife. I can’t add it to Homelife. there is no problem with the wireless access, it shows on the network, has audio / video recording access on the tv and WiFi app. However I cannot add it to the Homelife app. The app still lists old cameras that aren’t even on the network anymore (not just disconnected) - they all show as Communication Failure on the main screen and are listed in disabled / greyed color in the Manage Devices and I can’t remove them. As you can see some even show up as Online Homelife Activity Entries (wrong videos?, multiple dates?, out of order?) In the Homelife app on the iPhone it seems like videos are being listed on the wrong date, across a date span or maybe out of order. I cannot tell. I don't know when it started. Version 10.7.0 Re: Homelife video date I am going to make a new thread for the issue where the activity seems to be listing multiple dates. Please just address the problem with the date and time being wrong when saving videos. Re: Homelife video date Both are 10.7.0 - phone was updated on 10/23 and I have rebooted it since (no changes). I just tested it by saving a video from 11/6 @4:57 and it was marked as 10/20 @ 5:57. I saved one from 11/2 @ 2:11 and it was marked as 10/16 @ 3:11. What ever is causing the negative date range seems to be progressing with real time (meaning always saving by the same amount of time before). Re: Homelife video date Actually it is now significantly worse. Now not only are they still being saved with the wrong date they are saved with the time now off by an hour (daylight savings issue I would imagine). On on both iPhone and iPad. Re: Pluto? Thanks, we got an update email today.. Homelife video date Lately when I save a video from the Homelife app it is saved with the wrong date (but still has the correct time). This is a new issue. Pluto? Any update on when Pluto will be integrated into Contour? Homelife app says “No media. There is no media recorded on the selected date” in the Overview section Recently my Homelife app does not list any videos in the Overview section. All camera screens on both the iPhone and iPad apps say “No media. There is no media recorded on the selected date”. Updating the list using any controls on that screen (moving around with the previous / next day buttons to change the date or selecting a specific date using the calendar) has the same result. There IS actually media being properly recorded, it is just not listed on this screen. If you click on the Activity section it shows entries which can be properly filtered and includes video clips which can be played with no problems. The date navigation controls all work properly from this section. The problem is only related to listing recorded media from one section within both of the applications. I have not tested the web page on a computer.
