Error IA02

Setting up my TV for the first time, the screen was launching the initial application but now it says "Error starting initial app. Code:IA02"

Please advise

  • Hello Saxncin,

    Please disconnect the power and coaxial cable from the box for 2-3 minutes. Is there a splitter on the coax line? Have you had a box connected to this cable outlet before?

    I disconnected the cables like you said... when I turned it all back on the box now says "boot".

    What should I do now?

    We just moved in so I am not sure of the history of the cable outlet.

    If you're unaware of which outlets may be activated in the home, the best thing to do is to test a TV hardwired from the wall outlet directly then running a channel scan on your TV. If you get the basic cable channels, the outlet is live and you can connect your box there. If you don't get any channels, the outlet is not active.
