Voice announcing every input or change

I accidentally sat on the Contour remote and now every time I push a button, change channel, change volume, etc a voice speaking extremely fast tells me what is happening. I tried the B button for Voice Guidance but found that it’s already turned off. Help, this is super annoying!

UPDATE: Resolved using settings on TV remote, not a Cox remote

You must have a bumpy rump.  Accessibility Settings > Voice Guidance.

As I said, Voice Guidance is off but it’s still happening.

Another way to deactivate Voice Guidance is to program your B key to launch Voice Guidance.  After reprogramming the key, exit all menus and double-tap the B key.  Contour will pop up an option to either enable, disable or just toggle back-and-forth until it catches.

The Guidance feature is kinda buggy.

Then you sat on the TV remote and not the Contour remote.  Voice Guidance on Contour reads all text on the screen but is silent when you press Volume.  Moreover, Contour can't access the settings within your TV.

Thanks Captain Obvious, that’s why I said “not a Cox remote”. You need to find a hobby other than this.
