I'm happy they don't offer OANN.  It's trash.  In fact, I don't have cable because I don't want the $2-$3 broadcast fee going to Fox News either.

Fox News wouldn't get a broadcast fee because Fox News isn't a broadcast station.

Not only that, because Fox News is a CABLE channel only, they are not affected by the FCC broadcast channels regulations.

Probably money. I am sure a moderator will pop up and offer to do a channel request but many have made that request and so far no change. I see it as a good thing personally. OANN is propaganda IMO.

      ...just OANN is propaganda?

Granted, other news stations aren't that better. Depends which direction you swing, left or right. I don't watch broadcast TV personally so I have no skin in the game, however I HATE Trump, and OANN is Trumps propaganda channel.

  • Hi Rednet, Cox currently doesn't have an agreement with OANN to include their channel in our lineup. I've submitted a channel request on your behalf so your request will be considered in future lineup planning. Thanks for your post! -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
