LG TV and Bose Solo 5 Sound Bar

I have a Contour2 remote, LG 55 TV and a Bose Solo 5 soundbar. I programed the remote for the TV an all worked fine.  I continued to program the soundbar, but after entering the code, the volume works but I can no longer use the Contour remote to power off the TV.

    Hi @Jshaffer
    I know how important it is for you to have your remote paired with the television. On your remote press and hold the Setup button on the remote until the red LED on the remote turns green, then press the Contour (Menu) button. The LED on the remote flashes. Follow the pairing instructions displayed on the TV and enter the three-digit code. Hit OK and on the next screen, press and hold the Setup button on the remote until the red LED on the remote turns green, then enter the 5-digit code to pair the remote to your TV.
