I don’t want to see channels in my guide.

I don’t want to see channels in my guide. Removing them from favorites does NOT solve the issue. How do I permanently remove channels from the guide. I only want HD channels, yet when I use voice recognition I’m always taken to the NON-HD channel. Ex: “CBS”takes me to the NON-HD CHANNEL of CBS.
When I subscribed to DirecTV, the system allowed me to view only channels I wanted. COX, does not allow for this option.

Cox is still reformatting HD channels to SD in your area?  Cox was supposed to have stopped doing this years ago.  How many analog TV sets are still in Mesa?

You want the Free to Me option for the Guide but until Cox stops "double mapping" with SD channels in your area, Favorites sans Voice control will only work.

apparently you're not tapping the guide twice, selecting "hd only"!!
