I had the loud buzzing but it only lasted a few seconds. I have to constantly reset my contour box, however today I can't even do that.

I'm unsure if Cox limits the number of resets per box.

You'd get buzzing...it'd go away after a few seconds...and then you'd reset?

Does it sound like an electronic buzzing or a vibrating buzzing?

Did you recently install any electronic equipment near your setup?  Electronic buzzing could be an affect of "dirty" electricity or EMI from another source.
