soap opera effect - IFC Channel

Recently, IFC began rebroadcasting Scrubs and Third Rock from the Sun. Both of these shows, and only on the IFC channel, suffer from the Soap Opera Effect. This "smoothing" of the video makes the shows unbearable to watch. I don't see this on any other channels of my expanded basic TV package.

Since Cox does not offer an email address, I'm posting this here in hopes someone from Cox will read this.

This is a configuration issue as I've been well aware of this "feature" for years and have always adjusted my TV setting to remove it.

Will anyone from Cox look into this?

Will Cox contact IFC if the issue resides on their equipment?
