I just installed the Contour Wireless box on my patio. Everything works (the guide, OnDemand, apps) on it except for regular TV channels.
Further when a TV channel is selected, or when an OnDemand option is exited, the device will crash with an error message. I expect that this is happening when it tries to got the TV channel that is active.
I read elsewhere about some MoCA setting that needs to be enabled. But I cannot find this setting on my modem/router, utilizing the CoxWiFi app.
Any idea where to enable this setting?
Look under Connection > MoCA.
Is that at wifi.cox.com?
It should within the Panoramic app under Connections. Web browser would be cox.com/mywifi
Well thanks...its looks like its already enabled. So gotta be something else going on.
I'm unsure how Panoramic and MoCA work. I understand MoCA can distribute IP throughout the house via existing coaxial cable. If coax terminates at a wall-plate in a room, doesn't something need to be connected to termination point to wirelessly transmit to a TV?
