Phone Scam? I was supposedly called from Cox from 402-526-7359

Phone Scam? I was supposedly called from Cox from 402-526-7359 and told that if I pay $99, that my monthly charges from Cox would go down $25 for the next two years. And, they wanted me to give them a credit card number to charge the $99 to. I didn't give them my card number. Was this a scam?
