Contour Record 6 DVR

Does anyone know why sometimes my Contour Record 6 DVR will not allow me to watch a different channel while 3 other channels are set to record at the same time?  If I have 6 tuners available, shouldn’t I be able to watch a fourth channel that is not being recorded at the same time as the three that are recording?

    Correct with a 6 tuner DVR you should be able to up to six shows. If this happens again please email the full -service address and name to cox.help@cox.com so we can take a look.
