When will Cox start supporting Nomorobo in Las Vegas? As much as we pay for phoen service, it should be supported. These Robocalls are ridiculous! I'm about ready to cancel and get VoiP phone service!
Colleen, when you say "old system" do you mean circuit switch? It will still be backwards compatible with Cox Digital Telephone(packet switch) with a eMTA right?
What I mean is if a area goes to Cox Voice, can the area still support Cox Digital Telephone if someone wanted it instead? For example, PS and CS existed together for a while. Will the same thing go for PS and Cox voice? Or is it a 1:1 replacement?
Thank you! Good to know there will be some backwards compatibility left over. I have a feeling some phone modem's won't be compatible with the new service once it rolls out nationally. Or some features like TV Caller ID or fax won't work on the new system. Do you happen to know if there is any process in place encase someone wants/needs to temporary revert to CDT?
@Becky Sorry for off topic, but since you seem to be working today, I was wondering if we could talk over the phone about my email issue. I think I had plans to call Tina tomorrow, but TBO I would prefer your expertise. If today is possible I will email my contact info in a bit. Just want to know for sure if what I am looking to do is technically possible or not. No is a acceptable answer, I just need to feel it's a well thought out no.
Hmm, bit of a hold up. I was going to call through Google Voice but my inbound doesn't seem to be working right now. Kind of the reason I was looking forward to Cox Voice. Could you respond in general to the new thread I just made?
