How can I keep cox email address without having residential service?

My wife and I both have cox email addresses from our residential service.  We are moving and will terminate our account with Cox.  Can we keep our cox.com email addresses or will mailbox go away when we terminate?  My relatives have cox service so we want to keep using the email as most of our business contacts have the cox address.

    If you have friends or relatives with Cox Internet service  you could coordinate with them to move your email addresses to their accounts.  Note that the contents will not be preserved and they would have full authority over the addresses if you choose to do so but it is one option if you wish to keep the emails active.
