I need a report of a my recent Tech service visit where the technician found that someone (I know the unit numbers) put a 4 way splitter on my connection. I would like to report them to our HOA. Any thoughts on how to avoid this in the future?

I am frustrated that my neighbors had put a 4 way splitter on my outside Cox connection. Has anyone else had this probem?

    How do you know your neighbor installed the splitter?  Was there a segment of cable routed towards their unit?

    Although the unit couldn't get cable-TV, I'm sure it still would be criminal to connect to someone's internet connection.  Why didn't the tech report this?
