My internet has been randomly disconnecting but only at night, multiple times per hour. The modem event logs show T3 and occasional T4 timeouts.
I have replaced my CM1000 modem with a Motorola MB8611, as well as replaced my coaxial cable that connects to the street cable. There are no splitters or anything between my modem and the cable that comes from the street. Resetting or rebooting the modem does not fix it.
Here's some screenshots of my connection and error log:
Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
Looks like low SNR on the downstream. Should be above 36dB. Must be some noise on the line. I would suggest a technician. Ask for a technician with a bucket truck to look at your tap on the pole.
Thanks, I'll schedule a technician to come out and report back here with an update.
Nice technician guy came out, replaced all connectors on all the cables, and confirmed there's a problem at the tap. He said he'd submit a ticket to get the tap looked at, now I'll be waiting another 5-7 days for that.
