Pod problems

The pods disconnect all the time and must be reset. Everyone knows this.

When we start a new thread, Cox autobots (human or not) recite the same reset instructions and then lock the thread.

Watch below, they’ll do it again. They know it’s a problem…a huge problem…but rather than say they know it’s a problem they’re working to address, they cut and paste the same troubleshooting section of the handbook and lock the thread, as if that makes this very serious issue go away.

Pods used to not be necessary. They are not effective. Cox used to have a much better system with secondary mesh routers. Don’t know why they abandoned them in favor of this garbage.

  • Hello KayRock, sorry to hear that concerns appear to remain. There was a known issue that has since been corrected. If concerns remain regarding your pods. Please try resetting them once more by unplugging them from power and plugging them back in and reboot the modem. If the connections do not improve? Please reach us on Twitter at @CoxHelp, visit us on Facebook, or email by at cox.help@cox.com. Provide your name, complete service address along with a link to this thread so we can get started. -Dan
