Inconsistent speeds. I need a firmware update, but customer service will not help me!

I've spent hours and hours in live chat trying to get this resolved.
My router/modem needs it's firmware updated. I'm not getting any help or resolution.

  • Hi MickyLee,

    Firmware updates are automatically pushed to the modems whenever there is a Cox-approved update to the individual modems' firmware. Please note, this does not mean that the firmware will be updated to the latest firmware from the modem manufacturer.

    If you are experiencing inconsistent speeds it is likely due to other factors impacting your speeds.
