Like many, I’m working from home these days, and a static IP address would make things a whole lot easier.
as far as I know, a static IP requires a business plan. Easy workaround is just using DDNS. My pfSense router updates my relevant cloudflare DNS records all the time, no issues on the hosting side.
+1 for DDNS. What do you need the static IP for?
With DDNS, I don't need a static address. I still need an accurate DNS record for VPN'ing to the house network and for some servers on AWS/DigitalOcean to ship logs to the house for retention
