Extend wifi to shop
If I have my modem and router upstairs, and I wanted to chain my wifi down stairs to a wifi extender, then set up another one outside in the shop, what would I need to do so?

Cox Support Forums Moderator my son uses a cell phone wi-fi extender to stay connected when out in detached shop/work area, not sure if it'll work with cox.
If you don't want to lay cable, you'll need more antennae to beamform and mesh your signal.
