Recenet moved to ATT FIber at a house in NC. I can receive, but cannot send emails via cox account.
What error do you get?
When on cellular, no error. Wheh on WIFI, I get:
Cannot Send Mail
the connection to the outgoing server "smtp.cox.net" failed...
What settings do you have for SMTP on your phone? Also, can you send from a laptop/PC?
Primary is set to "smtp.cox.net"
User name and Password are in and correct.
Use SSL is selected
AUthintication = Passowrd
Server port = 587
Checking other computer...
Does not work through a wireless desktop either.
Task 'firstname.lastname@example.org' - sending reported error (0x800CCC6F):Your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server has report an internal error.
Seems like a blacklist issue. Try the blacklist test I linked to above.
Nothing... 88 all ok.
