Login ID/password for Arris TG1682 in Bridge Mode?

Can the TG1682 be logged into when in bridge mode and if so, what are the credentials?  I discovered by accident the login IP changed for the TG1682 when in bridge mode.  I can get a login prompt at 192.168.100.1 but the default login credentials no longer work and nor does the previous credentials when TG1682 was providing firewall duties.  FWIW, an Netgate SG-2220 is firewalling now.

    Try using 192.168.0.1
    login admin
    password- password
If that doesn't work then do a factory reset.

Did that before and tried again and no joy.  Factory reset and a reconfigure back to bridge mode may be my only option.  Thanks.

FYI: Reset the modem and tried using the same complex password as before.  This time, the exclamation point (!) is no longer accepted in the admin password string.  Cox must have updated the password requirement recently.  Only alphanumeric characters are accepted.  I can access the modem via 192.168.100.1 in bridge mode which gets around the pfSense firewall.
