Email tagged as --SPAM--

I have spam filtering turned off. Emails are arriving in my webmail inbox tagged as --SPAM--. Why and how is that happening?

  • Hello Rick. When you have spam filtering turned off, suspected spam emails will be delivered to your email inbox. However, they will still have the spam label attached to them to warn you that they may be spam. This is normal and is by design. -Allan, Cox Support Forums Moderator.

Thanks Allan. So is there a way to "tell" the system that a tagged "suspected spam email" is not spam?
