Can someone please explain to me why I'm pinging 90-115 to Chicago servers from Arizona? It shouldn't be that high when it used to be in the 60s consistently. It's very depressing to see someone connect from Scotland and play in the same server with sometimes lower ping. Don't even ask about NY servers, I might as well be playing internationally with the pings I get there.
I have a traceroute below. Is there anything I can do? It's really affecting my experience when other players are hitting 30-60 from all over the country. I'm plugged into the router directly (even tried directly to the modem as well) and besides this issue everything else is working really well now.

Looks like there is not much you can do since the latency is outside of Cox. Maybe try a VPN?
Out of desperation I tried a different vpn provider and connected to their Chicago location before playing. 50ms-60ms ping stable. So it looks like I need to pay for this service and connect to the city the server is located on first. The feeling of helplessness is real but at least I have some solution.
I reached out to Cogent:
"You would want to open a ticket with your service provider. They can review and see if they have a less latent path to the destination."
Who would my service provider be in this situation?
I understand. Can you please do me a favor and let me know if these power levels are fine? Especially the upstream levels.
Thanks for taking a look. I installed a splitter last week to separate the Cox eMTA modem and my personal modem in an attempt to resolve the latency stuff. I'll remove the splitter tonight and leave only the personal modem connected then upload new screenshots.
So I took the splitter off. I noticed changes downstream but not so much upstream. How does it look to you?
