lag spikes while gaming

Hey, I have been experiencing serious lag spikes lately.(ever since I switched to the Ultimate plan) It is bad enough that I either disconnect from the game, or experience a long lag period. It is frustrating because I am paying a decent amount for the high speed plan. It happens with all games and videos. I am using a wired connection.
