I've contacted tech support, I just had a tech over today who swapped somethings out on the wiring outside along with swapping out new modem. He kept getting between 250-400 even though his meter said 1100, he contacted someone else and they said that the site we're testing our speed on is just showing the wrong speed. I test the speed and still only see 300-400 speeds.
Whats going on here? this isn't anything on my end.
This was all done hardwired, im not worried about wifi speeds. I need to see gig speeds or at least 700-800 plus and I'm lucky to see 350-400, this is after a tech came to the house. He said it was something with speed tests just not showing correctly, I don't believe that. I've tried many different speed test sites and they all show the same thing.
Have you tried DSLReports speed test? If so, could you include the results? Sounds like your area's DOCSIS 3.1 isn't fully working. How long ago did it launch in your town?
350-400 download range and it always says error1 when it tests for upload speed on DSL reports. Its been a year + that gigablast has been out. This is certainly out of my hands here, is it the modem?
Could you copy/paste the "Results and share" link of the test? For example, here is mine on 100/10Mbps Tier. The test results might show why it's getting a error and maybe that problem is causing your speed issue.

Becky, I've done it on a numbered of wired devices and still in that range. I had a tech out last week and he also received the same speeds on his devices even those his meter was showing the signal was 1100 but after it hits the modem its 350ish, he even swapped out modem same thing. Ultimately its still not fixed. I just got off the phone again to schedule an appointment.
Its getting a little ridiculous its this hard to figure out.
