I'm looking for a solution that does not include replacing a perfectly good smartphone. It looks like a recent update to the Cox Panoramic WiFi Application is no longer compatible with many smartphones out there, including mine of course. This post as of January 24, 2021, so I'd say the stunt happened within a few days before that date. I enjoyed the convenience of making adjustments to my home network remotely. Now that has been summarily taken away. Sorry if I don't appreciate that.

what exactly happens when you try to sign in to the app?
I cannot open the app on my smart phone. It hangs up and times-out after a minute or so
I tried to uninstall and reinstall

I can use my computer, which works just as before
Google Play won't offer me that particular app from Cox

Thanks....FYI...I installed the generic Cox app earlier today, which has broad functionality. (ver. 22.214.171.1244)
That app provides access to Panoramic wifi, and when I selected, it switched me over to Google Play Store to download the Panoramic Wifi Application. That interface actually showed an error message to the affect that my device was not compatible...
that's for that update
also based on the checks done it would appear a thoughyour device is not compatible
It worked fine until a couple days ago. Can you recommend a work-around for me that won't requirem me to replace my perfectly good and otherwise state of the art device?

I tried the chat feature. After explaining the problem and what I did to narrow things down to compatibility with the updated version, the rep indicated she'd look for a solution for me, and then she bailed after a few minutes and no dice for me.
