Cox Connect with Contour2 DVR

Last month we upgraded to the Contour2 (Record 6) DVR.  And with our previous (normal) DVR we could record shows remotely through the Cox Connect App.

Now the request keeps timing out. - "Hmmm, server is taking too long to respond.  Please try again later."...    That is the message 99% of the time received.

When calling in to customer service, I more or less get a shoulder shrug.


I'm really trying to avoid having to use https://www.cox.com/mydvr instead of the Cox Connect App.  Because the latter is really easy to use.

I have Uninstalled/ Reinstalled the App...  (IT version of turning it off and on again)  No changes.


How can I get this sorted out?
