re question from 2014 bigdaddy5x5

it was related to bigdaddy that cox was working on enabling access to recorded programs from ipad or mobile device.  I currently am unable to watch any shows i have recorded from  my tv cable box (cox contour tv) on my tablet, iphone, laptop.?   what gives ?  this was six years ago.  what am i missing ?

    The Cox Contour app and watchtv.cox.com does not offer the ability to view recordings from your DVR shows. If offers Live programs and on demand programs
