What's the truth to legitmacy about having Your phone# blocked; and whom you spoke to makes a call back to You --- as that they traced your phone#, during the chat. Several sources claim this be illegal; what's the truth to this?

As I found their name in my caller i.d.    With past sources, it was name & phone#.

    Add:  today's experience was name of business (I chatted to) who called back  --- had their name only, in my caller i.d.
    Past situations with other calls: been both Name & Phhone# in my caller i.d.
