wife gateway

I changed my router log in information long ago and can't remember. Cox said to contact Arris, which I did. They no longer provide support for my model ARRIS / Surfboard TG1682. Bottom line, I have to reset the router to factory if I want to be able to log in and enable "logging". Does anyone know of any other way?  If so, I would be grateful. I am reluctant to reset the router. We have many devices connected. What if I can't get it back to the way it was?

    Hi Leannadanna, the TG1682 appears to be one of our Panoramic WiFi models. Do you have the Panoramic WiFi Gateway? If so, these settings can be modified using our free Panoramic WiFi app. In addition, you can also view and control your in-home network:
