Panoramic and Bonjour

If you have recently had a Panoramic router/modem installed as part of switching to Cox Internet Ultimate a word of warning if you are an Apple user. Panoramic does not support Bonjour which is the application Apple uses to communicate between devices. Therefore, your printer will not be able to communicate with your Mac. Frustrated for over a week after installation and finally we turned to the web for answers. Confirmed today in conversation with Cox tech support. Their solution is to get manufacturer of Panoramic to put in a patch. Lots of luck with that one. In the meantime, you pay $10 per month for a router which does not support your network. Appears you pay $10 per month to help beta test their modem/router. Thanks but no thanks. There are not enough curse words.

    This is not an issue we have documented. I do not have the correct equipment in the office to reproduce this problem in the office. Did they say it was an issue with a port being blocked on the WiFi modem. ?
