Internet Quality/Speeds

So I used too just have the 1000gb of data plan, blah blah blah. Upgraded too the unlimited data because I needed too.
First month of unlimited, everything was fine...

Second month, speeds starting getting absolutely terrible once I hit that 1000gb amount. Called, complained, and it just magically stopped happening.
Third month, same thing as above, called and complained and it just magically stopped happening again.
Fourth month, we didn't end up hitting the 1000gb. No problems.
5, 6, 7 months were under 1000gb. Zero issues, constant 300 down, 30 up.
And now we are at the 8th month of this unlimited plan, and we have went over that 1000gb amount and the internet has been absolute trash the last couple days...and I mean trash.

I just find it weird that this seems to happen when we go over that limit, and curious if anyone else has had this issue? I have talked to about 10/15 people who all deal with Cox as well and they all mentioned they have had the same sort of issues once they reach certain points on their plans and have all said they believe to be being "throttled". Now I have had this thought in the past and figured, there is no way that is legal and/or how a company would do things...but.... lets be honest....its fishy.

PS. They have sent out tech guys as well, free, who have said there are zero issues.
I have a business to run, I can't have this ** happening. It affects my business, which affects my income.

I tried checking from this end however I wasn't able to reach the modem. I'd suggest trying to bypass any cable splitters you're using for starters or see if the modem works at a different outlet. If all of that fails it may be time to see about having a technician come out to troubleshoot further.

The problem will no longer occur as soon as I contact customer support over the phone. It always happens this way.

Also, there has been a technician here before and he has stated everything is 100% fine.
Even when I contact customer support, they will say everything is 100% fine. When in fact it isn't, until after I make that call.

Something is fishy. The first month I start cranking out high data usage again, it goes too poop. But it was A1 Steak Sauce before I started doing this again.

This coming month we will be testing the waters, we will remains under 1000gb, then the month after we will purposely go above. If we have no issues, then we have issues we will just have to take the next steps.
