ERR_SSLProtocol BS

Why do I get this message with what seems to be a growing number of websites but if I jump off Cox onto my mobile hotspot I have no problem going to the sites.

This site can’t provide a secure connection
(whatever website) sent an invalid response.

Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.

  • There are SO many reasons why this error could occur in Windows. Your best bet is to Google the error and try the numerous troubleshooting suggestions. For example, here is one of the troubleshooting steps... check the date and time settings in Windows. Wrong date and time settings can cause this error to occur.

System time is most likely the culprit.  We recently started Daylight Saving.  You could try forcing Win10 to update its certificates.  If you're using Chrome, I'm sure there are steps to update certificates.
