email problem while traveling

When I travel outside of Arkansas, my email is no longer received by my Live Mail app on my computer.  I can log into webmail and see it.  When I get back home, it all comes in to my computer again.  Why does this happen?  Is there something in my settings that I need to change?

    We have recently updated our email settings. Please visit www.cox.com/secureemail and follow the guided help all of the way through to ensure you have the most recent required settings for accessing email.
