Cox Live Mail three accounts, Can't send but can do all other functions except play videos sent to me by email.

Have been using three email accounts for years and two weeks ago the following started:

1. I can receive mail and perform other functions, but my outgoing mail sits in the "Outgoing" box, and I get an error message. 

2. I can't open icon's sent by others and shown on their email to me at upper left corner of the email window. 

3. I use two laptop computers and have the same problem on both. I also have email coming to my cell phone and all functions work on it including "send"

  • We are aware of an issue with sending email for some customers at this time, but it has not been going on for 2 weeks. What error message are you seeing? You may want to double-check your outgoing settings to make sure that they are up to date/correct, this link will assist www.cox.com/.../changing-your-email-server-settings-for-windows-live-mail.html You may also want to try removing emails from the outbox and try again as one of the emails that was attempting to be sent may be causing an issue and holding up all of the others
