You may want to double-check your outgoing settings to make sure that they are up to date/correct, this link will assist www.cox.com/.../changing-your-email-server-settings-for-windows-live-mail.html You may also want to try removing emails from the outbox and try again as one of the emails that was attempting to be sent may be causing an issue and holding up all of the others
