Yesterday signed up for Ultimate Package

Yesterday I upgraded to the Ultimate package. Ever since then my Network Status shows a Service Interrupted message  for  My Internet. I've reset my modem countless times with no luck. My modem is a Cisco DPC 3010 (RSA3010). I have a wireless Linksys EA4500 router also.

I tried to run the Internet Speed Check and when I depress the "Check Speed" nothing happens. I'm using Win 10 and Edge as my browser. Five dollars more for six months appears to be a good deal??

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks. Tony Olson

The two things I'm seeing is your Cisco DPC 3010 is an 8x4 channel with upgrading to the ultimate package requires at least a 16x4 this link will help with that http://bit.ly/1l650yz. The second thing I'm seeing is your US/DS signal levels could be better check coax connection and make sure all ends are hand tight if there's a splitter try bypassing it.

As it turned out my problem had more to do with my using the Edge Browser. I changed my browser to Chrome and my modem problems appeared to go away. The Network Status "Service Interupted" flag went away without a new modem reset.

I was able to check my Internet speed  (down in the 250 range).

I still would like to know what caused the strange behavior with Edge?

    Thanks for the input jonathanj.

Most welcome please let us know if you have further issues. Have you tried clearing cache/ cookies on Edge?
