XFINITY CABLE still showing up on my Cox Contour DVR Box
It's day 3 and Cox has still not fixed the horrific software problem where some customers are having XFinity Cable provider taking over their Cox Contour Boxes leaving us without cable for days and no real solutions to fix it other than wait until it gets fixed which is unknown! It's been 3 days 3 DAYS!!!!!!!!!
I received an email a few minutes ago letting our team know that this issue has been resolved. If you're still having issues we will need to reset the cable boxes. If you've got our Contour 2 service you will need to pull the power cord out of the main box/DVR first, wait 15 seconds and plug it back in. If you have additional client boxes please do the same. It's important that the main box is reset first. Please let me know how that works.
