wireless tv

does cox have plans to introduce wireless tv mini boxes? If so when, direct tv and century link have them now.

    If Cox did start distributing wireless HDMI boxes, I doubt it would be a Mini Box.  The Mini Boxes are too cheap.  They'd probably only offer the feature on their high-end service, such as Contour and DVR.

    Better than a wireless cable box...is NO cable box.  Right now, the FCC is looking to remove the cable box requirement.  Instead, service providers will have to offer a free application for your SmartTV.

    Hi connolp,

    I am not aware of any plans to have a wireless mini box. Keep an eye on the "News From Cox" section of your bill for changes to the account, updates, etc.
