wifi connection
On some websites, the embedded videos will not with play or appear? I have done a modem reset and a software update.

Most web browsers are now blocking Adobe Flash which is commonly used for videos for security reasons unless the site you're visiting is a reputable and well known service. I'd suggest resetting your browser's settings to defaults then trying again. If you're prompted to allow Adobe Flash content doing so will likely allow your videos to play.
