Why is there so much distortion on certain channels?
Some channels such as Discovery ID are often so distorted that it is a waste of time to try and watch them. Could it be a mini-box issue or is it the satellite feed?

Is the cable straight from the wall to the mini box or is there a splitter?
It's coming straight in and the problem is usually only on Discovery Network channels. It looks exactly like the problem of solar interference we used to get twice a year when we used a satellite receiver.
- Please swap the ends of the cable, what's in the wall put in the receiver and vice versa. Please let us know if the issue continues.
