Web mail classic look

I have a strange thing going on with webmail.   I have a few cox mail accounts.   One of them comes up with I assume is the enhanced look even though I have Classic look checked.   The enhanced mode is very slow to come up to use.  To make matters worse, previously when it use to come up in classic mode I had my mail configured to forward all my cox mail to my gmail account.

For a week I noticed I wasn't getting any mail. When I logged onto webmail I noticed all my missing mail was there.  I went into the settings and for some reason it was not configured to forward my mail.  I have now configred it to forward my mail to my gmail account however its not working 100%.

The other strange thing is I have several cox mail accounts.  The other accounts come up in the classic look like they should.

How can I get the account back to classic look?   Regardless if I check classic or enhanced it always comes up in what I assume is enhaced mode.  I need to get back to classic look with all my accounts hoping my mail forwarding will be 100% again.

Quesiton,  how do I prevent my other email address from "migrating" to the new format.   I find it very slow and the auto

forward does not work 100%.   Before they made this change they should have worked the details out to prevent

this inconvenience.   I don't pay cox for problems I expect it to work 100%.

I tried the link and after about a minute of watching dots scroll across the center of the screen, I highlighted the address and hit

enter to try again.  It took 3 times total of about 3 mintues before it went to the mail screen.

The link looks like the same like I get when I log in on the cox website.

Please have someone look into this.  I have the same problem with Firefox and Chorme.

    I don't use Interner Explorer

Please try myemail.cox.net without the added /appsuite. Please let us know if the issue continues. Do you have any other rules set up in webmail or is it only the one set to forward to your gmail account? All emails will be migrated soon as we are moving to an new email platform. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

No difference I get that new non classic look.  I never use it and have all my mail forwarded to my gmail because with

COX it was timing out all the time.   Now I have to check the COX webmail for fear its not forwarding the mail.

  • KenK,

Eventually all email accounts will be migrated to the new platform. Please let us know if you notice any emails that are not forwarding.

I've had Cox for almost 2 months and have yet to successfully log into cox webmail.  I've tried Google Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft and each time the connection times out.  I just get the three ...'s.  I have tried adding the cox email to Gmail but I get Server Denied POP access. I've also tried both the Classic and enhanced but again no luck.  I've changed my gmail settings to All POP access...no change.

I'd like to start migrating all of my emails to my new Cox email but at this point have had no success accessing them!

I believe that a Cox Chat employee opened a ticket this morning but not sure how long that will take.

    Very frustrated.

Been there, done that.  I've cleared cookies, cache.  Doesn't seem to help.

    CollenD,

Is it known when Cox Webmail will migrate to the new platform?

  • Hi Sparkie,

We don't have access to the migration schedule, unfortunately. We have been sending alert emails announcing the transition to a new Email platform one week before each customer's email account(s) are scheduled to switch to the new platform.
