Vindication

I have been having signal loss everyday about 12 hours apart and had 2 techs onsite today to check it out.  After going through my cabling etc everything is good.  So then they checked all my neighbors and lo and behold my neighbor across the street has some real crappy wiring and alot of signal ingress so guess what now they have to make an appointment with him and get his wiring corrected and in the meantime I have to reset my connection twice a day until he gets his fixed.

  • Unfortunately at times we will have customers with either faulty wiring or equipment that will bleed interference back into our plant and will create disruptions for other customers.  Sometimes this is difficult to catch depending on the issue and if the device creating the issue is on or not.  Sounds like they have a handle on it and apologize for the inconveniences it may have caused.

    Now I have to wait for the person to get there lines or equipment fixed and I hope they do it soon

  • mine resets itself at least 4-5 times a day for months now. we have been through 5 of them now and same thing everytime

    These were the first 2 techs that even thought of looking at the other lines in the box that went to my neighbors.  You could have an email spammer, hacker etc as well destroying the bandwidth in your area maybe they should do what they did to mine and check the other people that are connected to the line.
