Very slow in chandler AZ

I have rebooted my cable modem and router.

I pay for 150 down, but i'm only getting 20.

The signal levels got a little better but not by much. You could try a different cable outlet and see if that helps. Otherwise I think a service visit may be in order.

I looked at the modem from our end and it's reporting some signal problems and packet loss. Are there any cable splitters you can try bypassing and see if that helps?

I could possibly bypass one splitter, but it was working fine for two years before yesterday.

I removed the splitter, but still only get 2mb download speed.

I called Cox support last night and they said there was an outage in my area, but that it would be fixed by 11pm.

Nothing has changed, it's still very slow.

While there may have been an outage at one point I don't think that's what is causing the problems you're seeing. I'm thinking it may be time to see about having a tech come out and troubleshooting further.
