Using Thunderbird client, constantly have to reset modem to access emails

I use the latest Thunderbird to access all my email addresses (6) but constantly have to reset the Cox provided modem/router to get it to connect. I get no error messages and it seems to connect to my accounts but then NOTHING happens until I reset the modem.

I use the identical client setup at work with 0(zero) problems...it's NOT COX ISP service at work.

WTF over.

  • Are you able to get a connection to any websites prior to the reset or does the overall internet connection not work until you reset the modem?
