I understand you're getting this on one channel to a receiver in the home. Does the error message go away after channeling up a couple times, then back down? If no resolve, I would then recommend to unplug the power to the receiver for 20 seconds. Allow the reset to complete, then turn to this channel.
Customers have the option to swap receivers at our Solution Stores; however, we can't determine if a receiver swap would resolve the Temporarily Off Air message on the Contour receiver for USA HD. Is there a splitter attached to the coax between the wall and the back of the Contour Receiver?
We can send a refresh signal to the Contour Receiver only. A reset would interrupt cable service to this one receiver for several minutes. We can do this for you at any time.
I would suggest swapping the Contour box with the non Contour box and see if the problem follows the Contour box. If it does, you know it probably a issue with the box. If it doesn't and the other box doesn't work where the contour box is now, then the problem is more likely the wiring and getting a new box won't help.
