Unstable connection on weekends and at night.

During the week my normal speeds on ultimate test as ~330/30. After 7:30pm on weekdays and from friday to sunday night, its common to see less than 100mb down, the upload remains unaffected.

To be honest the download speed wouldnt bother me if that much were the only problem. The main issue im having with these slowdowns is ping related. Online gaming just isnt enjoyable during the times I stated.

    Hello,

    The modem is reporting a high amount of power adjustments. Is the modem plugged up to a power strip or signal amp?

    Cox technician installed an amp last year.

    Ok. Please check the connections and power cycle the signal amp. Please let us know if that helps.

    Cycling the amp did not help. Checking all connections didnt help. I bypassed the amp, and that didnt help either. 

    As far as I can tell its something beyond the outlet on my wall that is the problem.
