tv mini box ir to run cox tv mini box how do you get them?

How do you get them? I called our tech support & they didn't know what they were or where to get them. Our remote model is URC-2220-R

    IR Extenders can be picked up at a Cox Solutions store. Please check with your local store for availability.

    My nearest Cox Solutions store is about 80 miles away from where I live.

    Is it possible for them to ship an IR Extender to me?
