TV Caller ID

TV called ID has stopped working on the master and both clients. Anyone else having an issue?

    I was able to find we have a ticket created for you to receive a solution on the TV Caller ID Banner not appearing on the receivers. It can take 24-48 hours for you to receive a call to confirm if the issue has been resolved for you.

  • Yes... It seems there had been a recent update/upgrade to contour 2 as has happened in the past since the roll out... Features are added, changed, deleted, updated etc.... This latest one the past several days or so has changed the interface of the control panel notification option, left arrow on the remote....no weather and other minor options and no phone notifications of incoming calls.... The whole interface says 'no notifications... You're all caught up'.... When I get a call it does pop up on tv screen but DOES NOT log in the new control center.... hoping it's just a glitch in this update.... Hopefully they'll respond to this post.... Master and both clients affected of course... Noticed several+ other changes in this update...

    contour 2 screen saver issue,

    We can submit a form to have this issue looked into. Would you please send us an email to cox.help@cox.com with you full address and your name so we can investigate this issue?

    Yup. They definitely changed some settings very recently. I have my master set to never fall asleep; last weekend it was working but as of this weekend it falls asleep within a short period of time, even though the sleep setting is turned off

    Is a message appearing before the screen? How long is it working before the power saver happens?

     I'm not sure how long it was working before the power saver activated.  I had it on late yesterday afternoon and when I put it on late morning today it was already in PowerSaver and it said it saved 16 hours - that was the message on the screen. However before this weekend, it never went into power saver and when I go into the settings PowerSaver says off.

    I called in Thursday and nobody's called me back since then regarding the tv caller ID issue

  • I have been having this problem since March. Contacted Cox. They do not seem to be aware of it and just instruct you to go to the TV and turn on Caller ID using the MENU button. The function is ON. It does not fix the problem. I still no longer receive caller ID on my TV. (And, some of the personalized caller IDs on my telephone have changed as well.)
